Jessica Bolding, MS, LAc
Specializes in family medicine for all ages, and also women's health, including gynecology, obstetrics, fertility, menopause, hormone changes in young women, weight loss, and cosmetic acupuncture.
Jessica graduated from Brenneke School of Massage in 1996. In June of 1999, she finished her training at Bastyr University with a Masters of Natural Health Science in Acupuncture.
Some of Jessica’s favorite times during her internship were experiences at the hospital in Chengdu, China's University of Chinese Medicine. This inspired Jessica to learn
Chinese and spend the following two years working in the Chinese Medical Departments of local hospitals in China and Taiwan. During this stay, her primary home was on a small Taiwanese island named Penghu.

Linda University with a Bachelor
of Science degree with a major
in Medical Technology, Donah
decided to attend Bastyr
University, a leading accredited
university in the United States
for alternative and holistic
medicine, where she graduated
with degrees in Doctor of
Naturopathic Medicine and Master
of Science in Acupuncture and
Oriental Medicine (AOM). She
also completed an advance
internship in AOM at Shuguang
hospital in Shanghai, China,
through the Shanghai University
of Traditional Chinese Medicine,
which involved training in
traumatology, rheumatology,
gynecology, and internal
medicine with clinical rotations
in oncology, cardiology,
endocrinology, pulmonology,
gastroenterology, and hepatology.
After returning from China,
Donah joined the healthcare and
teaching team at the Bastyr
Center for Natural Health, the
teaching clinic of Bastyr
University, as an AOM resident.
During her residency, Donah
worked with Dr. Xindong Ma, one
of Bastyr's women's health
experts, cultivating her
interest in women's health in
addition to internal medicine
and pain management.
She has experience working in a
variety of clinical settings such as
inner city clinics, level 1 trauma
hospitals, and specialized clinics,
which treats specific populations
with HIV/AIDS, chronic fatigue
syndrome, and fibromyalgia. In
addition, she has experience working
in situations involving cultural
barriers and communication
challenges while working with
immigrant populations. Using
individually customized, safe, and
effective treatment protocols that
combine various complementary
modalities, she has been successful
in treating a diverse population of
patients with complex health
concerns such as HIV/AIDS, cancer,
diabetes, chronic fatigue,
fibromyalgia, cardiovascular
disease, menstrual disorders,
depression, substance addictions,
and both acute and chronic pain. Her
education and training in both
western and eastern medical
paradigms bring a unique perspective
on diagnosis and treatment
principles. She is NCCAOM certified
and a Washington state licensed
acupuncturist. |
